Wim Van Bortel, Vu Chinh, Dirk Berkvens, Niko Speybroeck, Ho Trung, Marc Coosemans Malaria Journal 2009, 8:248 (29 October 2009) This paper describes the results of experimental hut trials to investigate the efficacy of a variety of insecticide-treated nets. The local vector population is partially resistant to multiple pyrethroid insecticides and so the rational behind the study was to determine whether the nets were still effective against resistant mosquitoes.
