Spread of anti-malarial drug resistance: Mathematical model with implications for ACT drug policies Wirichada Pongtavornpinyo, Shunmay Yeung, Ian M Hastings, Arjen M Dondorp, Nicholas PJ Day, Nicholas J White Malaria Journal 2008, 7:229 (2 November 2008) This article describes a new simulation model for malaria. It is, quite obviously, not the first model of its type, but it is an exceptional example of a simulation model. The model is complex enough to give some confidence in the epidemiological significance.
