The statistical significant association with WTP was being a mother (unadjusted odds ratio = 2.0, CI = 2.1–3.4 and adjusted odds ratio = 2.1, CI = 1.2–3.6). The dependent variable in the calculation was WTP ≤ TSh 500 respective WTP > TSh 500. The independent variables were household status, occupation, education, household size and number of children.
