Alignment of the predicted amino acid sequences of P126 OR region from Candeias do Jamari and Peixoto de Azevedo P. falciparum isolates (GenBank accession number EU360815 and EU360816). The OR fragments OR-I and OR-II from Brazil were compared one each other and to FCR3 and Honduras1 OR described sequences reported by Morimatsu and others [22] and Liu and others [35]. The motif insertion is underlined, the lake of corresponding residues is indicated by dash, different residues are indicated in boldface letters and two (OR-I) or three (OR-II) antigenic determinants are in box.
