Petrica Rouse, Mtawa AP Mkulama, Philip E Thuma, Sungano Mharakurwa Malaria Journal 2008, 7:185 (23 September 2008) A brief report commenting on variability in measures of the size of amplified fragments of a variable region of the msp2 gene, that are used for “fingerprinting” analyses to assign treatment outcomes. The work offers useful information on the precision of this important methodology and on the need for standardization of methods.
